The 5/8-mile long Pompano Park Harness Race Track has been in operation since 1964 and has grandstand seating for 7,500 spectators. It is part of the larger Pompano Park gaming facility in central Pompano Beach. A number of championship races have taken place at the track over the years, including the Breeder Crown Championships; simulcasting of events across the nation occurs at the track year round.
